The Rare Disease Research Alliance is supported by the European Union under the Horizon Europe program and is led by the National Institute of Health and Medical Research – INSERM (France).
The initiative brings together over 180 organizations from the public and private sectors to advance research in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of rare diseases.
The primary goal of the Alliance through 2031 is to improve the health and well-being of people living with rare diseases in Europe and to position Europe as a global leader in research and innovation in the field of rare diseases.
The Multistakeholder Advisory Board will provide strategic recommendations to ERDERA, helping to shape research directions and support initiatives that directly address patients’ needs. It will also play a key role in advising on clinical trials, financial strategies, and collaboration opportunities.
