On March 15, the Congress Center of Sumy State University hosted the Open Day event, “EXPO SumDU: Exhibition of Specialties.” The event gathered future students who had the opportunity to explore the university’s educational opportunities, take part in a thematic quest, and receive symbolic gifts.
Participants received cards with encrypted specialties and set off in search of the corresponding locations. At each station, they collected stamps from faculties and institutes, and upon successfully completing the route, they won exclusive SumDU merchandise.
Each university department prepared its own interactive location. At the exhibition of the Educational and Scientific Medical Institute, applicants had the chance to try themselves as medical professionals—measuring blood pressure, treating teeth, providing first aid, and studying human skeletal anatomy.
The “EXPO SumDU” Open Day became a great opportunity for future applicants to get to know the university’s specialties more closely, experience the academic atmosphere, and communicate with representatives of institutes and faculties to help them decide on their future professional path.
