In the first weeks of September, an initiative was organized by the extracurricular sector of the Educational and Research Medical Institute and the volunteer club “Vira” to collect donations for the DimPets shelter. The shelter houses about 50 cats with various disabilities and issues, which were either abandoned or are undergoing treatment.
During the event, 1,500 UAH were collected, which were used to purchase food, including: 24 packs of wet food, 14 cans of canned food, and 13 kilograms of dry food.
On September 16th, the volunteers from the “Vira” club delivered the food supplies to the cats’ shelter. Additionally, the volunteers stayed to play with and give attention to the cats, who spend most of their time alone.
