The medical institute is gladly visited by entrants and their parents, who have the opportunity to get acquainted with the conditions created in the educational institution, to communicate with teachers and students, to get answers to topical questions.
This year the event was attended by about 150 people, which is evidence of the recognition of the high authority of the Medical Institute among applicants not only from Sumy region, but also from other regions. Visitors were given a demonstration of animal experiments to model pathophysiological processes, held presentations that reveal the possibilities of the institute for the educational and scientific process, there were introductory tours.
Everyone had the opportunity to conduct a Turk experiment (reflex time study) on their own or with the help of students, to simulate local circulatory disorders, to prepare a preparation for frog mesentery and to directly observe the development of inflammation. Students, under the guidance of teachers, performed appendectomy on a rabbit. According to future entrants and their parents, the event was held at a high level.
