Vytautas Usonis, a professor at Vilnius University and an employee of the Department of Pediatrics of Sumy State University, decided to transfer his salary to the people of Ukraine which suffered due to the aggression of the Russian Federation.
In addition, the Lithuanian Pediatric Society, headed by Professor Vaidotas Urbonas, has transferred about 10,000 euros to a special account in Lithuania to help Ukraine. Professor Urbonas participated in a joint application for a grant with the Department of Pediatrics of our university and Vilnius University last year.
